On April 21, the Instituto Cervantes in Manila will join all the international celebrations on the World Book Day by organising a series of cultural events open to the general public...

In celebration of this special occasion, Instituto Cervantes will organize a whole day Open House with many fun activities like concerts, film showings, Spanish food fair, photo and declamation contests on April 21, 2007 from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. It will begin with a Book Market where Instituto Cervantes will offer at token price more than 4,000 brand new books. Aside from the Instituto Cervantes, the market will include a sale of books by popular Filipino publishing firms and leading bookstores at 20% off! Also following the tradition during the Day of the Book in Spain, a rose will be gifted to every book buyer!

Teehee. Another wanderlust-y undertaking with travel buddy, Zane!

They're not only offering books but there's gonna be a FOOD fair, a free Spanish lesson and maybe even some salsa dancing! Oooh. How exciting. :D

What a horrible terrible miserable rotten twist of luck.

Hahaha, last Monday was just UNBELIEVABLE.

Monday, Sept 25. Due date for Comm Paper.

10 pm, Sunday - 2 pages worth of writing and only about 3 paragraphs made sense

1 am - computer was experiencing some power failure. IT WAS NOT TURNING ON! aaagh!

2 am - since i had no other copy of my essay (which was in the computer,) i had to rewrite the whole essay from scratch!

7 am - with only less than hour of sleep, i had to go to school early just to type the essay at a computer shop.

9:30 am - DONE typing! (uneditted pa ha) but i couldnt get it printed because the line was so looooong. i save the file on a diskette and go to another computer shop.

9:50 am - 10 minutes to class (nat sci quiz!) but the diskette has a virus! they refuse to open the file. aaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10:00 am - Nat Sci class. Haha. Sorry, i just had to include that. Time seems to run so slooooooooooow in her class.

2:00 pm - After cutting History and going to a pc shop (printing cost P5 per page!!), I was finally done with the Comm paper, and still had 30 minutes to spare for lunch.

But once I had finished typing that paper, everything seemed better. The sky was bluer, there was less pollution along Taft, I saw someone in the RH steps..... Hahahaha.

Crud, but cliches aside, the day really did end better than it started. I got to talk to certain people I usually dont get to talk to (Hellooooo Benjo, Dan M and Karen! Haha.)

I think I ended the day by singing out loud while walking back home and watching a rom-com movie. Life is definitely GooooooOOoood.
